The Environmental Institute of Australia and New Zealand, Australian Capital Territory Division is hosting a One-Stop-Shop Q&A forum on Wednesday 7 May from 1-5pm.
This Q&A forum will allow environmental professionals and others to ask questions to a panel of government officials and legal experts on the Australian Government’s new One-Stop-Shop for streamlining environmental approvals under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999. The One-Stop-Shop means that state and territory governments will soon be assessing and approving projects involving nationally protected matters. If you are involved in EPBC Act approvals, or want to know how the new system will operate, this is a “Must Attend” event.
