This calculator is designed to enable glass artists working in hot glass studios to calculate the carbon emissions from individual artworks. This is to enable off-setting or other methods to achieve carbon neutrality. The calculator assumes that the hot glass studio kilns are gas fired. The calculator is based on the certified carbon neutral claim “Wild-River (2017) Carbon Neutral Claim for Tom Moore, Glass Artist, incorporating 2015-2019 Doctoral Project and 2016 Magic Object Exhibitions.
